TEXTHi everyone, I grew up in Big Bear. I'm thinking about everyone and hoping your beatiful valley will be OK. My mom tried to get her cat (Miss Kitty) into her vehicle before evacuating the area. She lost her dog last year, and her new-found cat has been her peace and happiness. She left two large bowls of food but fears the cat will go looking for her, and not be there when she returns. Please, if anyone finds a black and white cat in Sugarloaf, let me know. Stop and help any pets you see...somewhere, there are owners that love them just as much as children! I prayed for the typical snow flury that is so familiar each Halloween...I can see by the webcams that it worked! God bless the firefighters and everyone else working to save the San Bernardino Mountains! Cindy

Cindy: Go to this website: www.bensweather.comClick on: "message forums"; click on "Fire Updates Here" Then look for "Help For Pets left in Sugarloaf" There is a person named Shellbell6 She is there, feeding pets left there by residents, helping those who can not get back up the mountain. Hope this helps...

For Cindy M: From web site: www.bensweather.cpmshellbelle6 I'm sure everything will be fine...If you would like I can go make sure the food and water bowls are full, you can email me and give me the location....If the cat is there, and I can catch Miss Kitty, I will bring her here to my home in Sugarloaf and take care of her till this mess is all over, if thats what you want. My email address is in my profile.
