Green Valley Lake Community Chipper Day!
Pick-up, chipping and disposal are free of charge, No cost to the residents!
July 17th - 10am to 4pm.
The purpose of Chipper Day is to assist all residents and property owners in the reduction of fire hazards in the form of slash and ladder fuel (branches).
Have your slash and ladder fuel cut and stacked on your property adjacent to the street.
However, don’t block the street.
Or
Take your slash and ladder fuel to the easy access drop off site located next to the
"Buck a Bag Truck" on GVL Road.
We will only accept & dispose the following types of slash and ladder fuel:
* Branches, 6 inches in diameter or less;
* Lumber and fence posts, 6 inches in diameter or less.
We are unable to accept the following types of materials:
* Grass, leaves, or other yard waste
* Painted or preserved wood
* Material containing rocks, dirt, metal, nails, screws, fasteners, wire or twine
* No materials accepted from contractors or construction work
* No chipping of commercially removed trees
