NBC broadcast video yesterday of the fires on Mozumdar, on the west side of the 600 block. Supposedly one home was destroyed & 3 others damaged. Does anyone know of any other structures burned on Mozumdar, and if so on what portion of the street? This morning's news said that the fire in CPP was one of the primary hot spots of concern in today's battle.

Info from Ranger Al's site - he seems pretty descriptive w/ his information, so I would assume ok if not listed and its near these 207.115.70.85/update.htm3:45 pm Thursday- Cedar Pines Park Mozumdar Addresses from 729-829 not including 829 have burnt. The temple survived but the outbuildings didn't. Muzumdar and Sandhill area- still too hot to tell. Still some hotspots. I'll try to get back in.

don't know if it will help you or not, but I saw this homepage.mac.com/joeurbz/iblog/index.htm- I'm back at the house on Crest Forest Dr. again. It's martial law up here right now. The police are stopping cars and questioning people, looking out for looters. They have told me to either stay home or leave the mountain. That put a lid on my plans of checking on peoples' houses and animals. With the exception of 4 or 5 houses on Valley View off Playground, all of Valley View Park appears to be OK. If anyone has any needs for me to check on homes or pets in the immediate area (where I can walk to) in the vicinity of Crest Forest and Playground, you can call me at 338-1495. Please, only call for any requests within this immediate area. I ran into Woody this afternoon. His business is doing great! He is a very happy bar owner. [Dominique Dieken]

I was out of state when the fire started and wasn't able to get to my house when I arrived back in Ca. I have three Rottwielers, animal control claims to have forced entry into the house and were able to remove two of the three dogs however they have no information as to where they were brought. I've checked all listed animal shelters twice but can not locate them. My major concern is the one which they were not able to remove to safety. My address is 420 Hartman circle, cedarpines park. Any information on my dog would be greatly appreciated. Although I have not been given any information on which dogs were taken or which one remained, I believe it was the youngest male that they couldn't catch as he would give them the most trouble, especially if they broke down the door and came at him with a long pole and noose. I am very worried and if anyone has seen him please advise me asap. He has a big head and is a good size dog. If the house didn't burn he is probably hanging around that area, but I don't know if animal control closed it up after forcing entry, so no idea if he can get in to his food and water. I thank everyone in advance for anything you can provide. I can be reached at (909) 360-9476. My name is Ed Wick
